Keirsten Metz
Paralegal
Keirsten Metz’s path to the world of law was unexpected but deeply fulfilling. Initially indifferent to the legal field, her journey began while nannying for a family law attorney during COVID-19. This experience, coupled with an opportunity to work as a legal assistant and undergo paralegal training at Indian River State College, unveiled her passion for law. Graduating in 2022 with an A.S. Degree in Paralegal Studies, Keirsten found her calling in family law, a field where she could leverage her personal experience as a child of divorce to empathize and assist families in transition.
At Yaffa Family Law Group, Keirsten serves as a paralegal, supporting the team with her keen organizational skills and taking on increasing responsibilities in the discovery process. Her role is crucial in gathering essential financial documents, aiding in the firm’s commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive legal services.
Beyond her professional life, Keirsten embraces an active lifestyle, participating in Orangetheory Fitness classes, rollerblading, disc golf, and snowboarding. Her passion for cheerleading continues as she competes with an all-star team and coaches JV cheerleading, sharing her skills and spirit. In quieter moments, Keirsten explores her growing interest in cooking, experimenting with new recipes and culinary challenges.
